North + South Eating

I've had these pictures saved in my drafts for a while.

Shabu Shabu with my mom and sister before I went back to LA. One Pot.

Why yes, I do actually want a macchiato. From Bellano.

Made a hat to keep myself warm if I get cold. The pom pom did not turn out as foofy as I dreamed, but not bad for a first try.

Packing to go back to LA.... with Goofy Tsum Tsum!!

Found a cute daruma at a restaurant near school.

Just a typical 2 pm breakfast at Aloha Cafe.

And finally, a dumpling craving means typing in dumplings to yelp and going to a random restaurant. Worked out great! Dunno if I'd call these "dumplings" though. More like chinese buns. Myung In Dumplings.

I'm sick, but craving Little Tokyo foods...

Coffee As Usual

I had a quick optometrist appointment this morning that had better results than usual.

After that I grabbed a lunch box from Paris Baguette and headed over to a new coffee shop recommended to me by my sister. It's called Big Mug Coffe Roaster and the shop is located on El Camino, a convenient location to where I was coming from.

The staff was nice, but the person who took our orders was a little confused about what kind of milk they use for some reason. The wifi password was on the reciept, so I'd recommend asking for it when you check out. The barista passed me an old receipt for the password which was nice.

There were tons of older people there, but that may have been just business meetings since it was around lunch time on a Monday.

[I think uploading the pics from my iPad makes tem blurry oops]

Happy New Year!!

New Year, new gadgets. I've been seriously enjoying my time at home these past few weeks and I'm worried about going back to school but I'm also excited.

I havent been making much but I hope to do so soon.

I saw the fanciest gingerbread houses in a restaurant in Pebble Beach earlier this week.

Snow White and the dwarves!

And my dog got a sweater to keep warm during this chilly winter. :)

Till next time...
