「月」Things to come.

"There were illuminated points in her vision, little pinpricks as though the worn fabric of the visible world was being held up against a far brighter light. She felt in the top right corner of her brain a heaviness, the inert body weight of some curled and sleeping animal; but when she touched her head and pressed, the presence disappeared from the coordinates of active space. Now it was in the top right corner of her mind, and in her imagination she could stand on tiptoe and raise her right had to it. It was important, however, not to provoke it; once this lazy creature moved from the peripheries to the center, then the knifing pains would obliterate all thought, and there would be no chance of dining with Leon and the family tonight. It bore her no malice, this animal, it was indifferent to her misery. It would move as a caged panther might: because it was awake, out of boredom, for the sake of movement itself, or for no reason at all, and with no awareness. She lay supine on her bed without a pillow, a glass of water within easy reach and, at her side, a book she knew she could not read. A long, blurred strip of daylight reflected on the ceiling above the pelmet was all that broke the darkness. She lay rigidly apprehensive, held at knifepoint, knowing that fear would not let her sleep and that her only hope was in keeping still."
— Ian McEwan Atonement (60)
Progress is slow going with this book, but I'll get there. I can relate to that splitting headache though I wish I couldnt.
I'm getting more used to using my work laptop than my own these days. Much keyboard confusion ensues.

So much emotion in one song. Gets me every time.
My house it gonna be really crazy for the next couple of weeks. My mom's cousin is staying with us from this Wednesday till Saturday, then next week we have to prep to go to New York, then go to New York. So much to be done, so little time...

「火」Elanor Rigby

"It made me start to wonder if there were other people so lonely so close. I thought about 'Eleanor Rigby.' It's true, where do they all come from? And where do they all belong?"
- Jonathan Safran Foer, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (163)
I love that Oskar makes Beatles references. One of my favorite songs. <3
The morning ritual:
Went to a cafe to hang out with my sister the other day and saw this. I love finding Batman everywhere.
Have a lovely day!
